Ledger

Spreadsheet in, something useful out. Upload an Excel file or paste rows straight from Excel / Google Sheets — Ledger figures out what kind of data you gave it, then transforms it into something useful. No login, no server, no database: your data never leaves your device.

Why Ledger?

10 seconds to insight

No signup wall, no tutorial. Data in → results out.

Auto-detection

Ledger inspects your headers and rows, then suggests the right analysis — confirm or override.

Bilingual

Full English & Thai UI, including Thai header recognition (วันที่, รายการ, ฝาก, ถอน) and Buddhist-year dates.

Privacy-first

100% client-side. No login, no server, no database — nothing to breach. Static-hostable anywhere.

No dead ends

Data that doesn't match a known structure still gets a full statistical profile.

How to use

  1. Get your data in — three ways

    • · Upload an Excel file — drag in a .xlsx or .xls. Multi-sheet workbooks are fully supported: pick the sheet you want from a dropdown.
    • · Paste directly — copy cells in Excel or Google Sheets and paste (Ctrl+V). Tab-separated clipboard data is parsed into rows and columns automatically.
    • · Download a starter template — no file handy? Grab a pre-formatted starter .xlsx (Statement, Transaction log, or Account entries), fill it in, and upload or paste it back.
  2. Confirm what the data is

    • · Ledger analyzes your headers and sample rows and tells you what it thinks you uploaded — e.g. "This looks like a Statement (87% confidence)."
    • · Wrong guess? Just pick the right structure yourself — or let the generic profiler handle anything unusual.
  3. Map your columns

    • · Tell Ledger which of your columns plays each role (Date, Description, Amount…). Smart suggestions are pre-filled — including Thai header names — so this is usually a one-click step.
  4. Get results

    • · Summary cards — totals, net flow, entry counts at a glance.
    • · Hand-rolled charts — category breakdowns and monthly trends, built with lightweight SVG/CSS (no heavy chart libraries).
    • · Detail table — every entry, categorized.
  5. Export & share

    • · Annotated Excel — your original rows plus new columns (category, tax flags, running balance), with a summary sheet included.
    • · Printable receipts — click the receipt icon on any transaction to open a ready-to-print receipt (powered by payper.zummon.space).

What Ledger understands

Statement

Categorized ledger, tax-relevant flags (ภาษี / หัก ณ ที่จ่าย / VAT…), monthly money-in/out trends.

Transaction log

Category breakdown, running balance check, period totals.

Account entries

Balance rollup by account, trial-balance summary with debit/credit check.

Anything else

Full data profile: column types, null counts, min/max/distinct values, duplicate-row detection.

Nice touches

  • · Dark mode follows your system — no toggle needed, it just matches your OS.
  • · Language switcher in the header (EN / ไทย), remembered between visits.
  • · Works offline once loaded — it's a static site.

Honest fine print

  • · Excel files only (.xlsx / .xls) — CSV upload is intentionally not supported (but pasting from any spreadsheet app works great).
  • · Detail tables show the first 500 rows on screen; the Excel export always contains everything.
  • · Estimates only — this tool does not give tax advice.
